Postcard written by Dr. Elisabeth Eylenburg in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, Czechoslovakia to Karin Steinberg in Vetschau, Germany. Preprinted postcard with blanks Eylenburg filled in so that the message reads, "Theresienstadt, on 22. IX [September] 1944, My Love, I gratefully acknowledge receipt of your package on 2 1944, Elisabeth." The address side of the postcard has Eylenburg's and Steinberg's addresses and canceled stamps featuring Adolf Hitler. The postmark is dated October 11, 1944. Eylenburg died in the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.
