Report of the Society for July-September 1927; Dr. Philip Hillkowitz was the Society's President, and C.D. Spivak was the Secretary. Includes transcripts of speakers' addresses at the cornerstone laying for the sanatorium's Texas Pavilion for Women, text of Dr. Allen K. Krause's address on tuberculosis at the JCRS convention, information about the care of the cows in the Society's milking barns, a landscape development plan by S. R. De Boer, and correspondence. Also includes photographs of Philip Hillkowitz, Mrs. L. B. Rosenburg, Rabbi Morris Taxon, Harry Sigel, Hon. Maurice Hirsch, the Texas Pavilion for Women, and the "cow hotel" barn. The editorial announces the death of C. D. Spivak and notes that the next issue will be a tribute.
