Sisters Marjorie and Marian Cutler share their memories of the University Park area of Denver, Colorado, and Marjorie discusses historical details about the neighborhood. Marjorie talks about the origins of Boy Scout Troop 5, Denver, Colo., adding that it was the first troop west of the Mississippi. She gives a brief history of the University of Denver (DU) and talks about Chancellor Henry Buchtel's role in raising money for the university, including his efforts to provide funding to build a chapel and a library on the DU campus. Marjorie provides a biographical sketch of their father, Dr. Ira E.
