| Notes |
This Conference has become one of the most prominent summer scientific meetings in the United States. In each of the past few years, attendance has grown. Last year we had more than 700 registrants. We anticipate the number will be surpassed this year. More than 260 papers and posters are to be presented. Three of the symposia have attracted well-known scientists from a number of other countries, truly making this an international meeting. The Conference banquet promises to be extremely interesting. Representatives from the Denver Museum of Natural History will present a program which will focus on the behind the scenes look in the preparation of life size ecological habitat diorames that show animals in their natural environment.
