Abstract This study attempts to explain the determinants of NFL franchise revenue generation. Seven variables will be examined and tested in order to determine which of those variables have the most significant effect on revenue. Data were collected from the 2000 through 2005 regular seasons. Regression analyses were used to analyze the data. The results of this study were that ticket price, attendance, and television deals all have a large positive effect on NFL franchise revenue generation.
